In order to ensure reliable back-up operation, the battery must be checked to make sure that it is fully
operational. When using the battery monitoring, a special DC-USV module, which is additionally installed in the control cabinet, monitors the charge of the back-up batteries.
The monitoring of the charge-up batteries takes place at regular intervals during operation.
In event of a fault, an alarm signal is generated immediately. The state of the battery module is indicated by a light-emitting diode (LED) on the control cabinet.

Ordering information / limitations
To indicate the state, the LEDs on the cabinet door are used.
For that reason, when ordering, a cabinet door with preparation for the door interface (see under KR C2 control cabinet / basic cabinet) and a door interface must be selected. The door interface offers various connections, see under PC / door interface.
